![]() It was a special gift for Nārada." -SB 1.6.20 purport It is not, however, possible for others to perceive directly the touch of the Lord during the probationary stage of regulative devotional service. The Lord was much pleased with Nārada Muni, and therefore the necessary strength was invested in him so that he could hear the Lord. One upon whom His mercy is bestowed can hear Him. And yet by His causeless mercy one can have suitable senses to hear Him or to speak to Him. "In the Vedas it is said that God is beyond the approach of mundane words and intelligence. A relevant purport from Srila Prabhupada: I've been advised by Sri Guru that these special moments can evaporate like camphor, and we will lose them if don't carefully keep them hidden. ![]() This he does mostly either in person or through his teachings, but also occasionally in dreams. He will appear first to us(long before Sri Krsna) to apply the salve of knowledge to our eyes( ajnana-timirandhasya), so gradually our blindness will go away. When Krsna's mercy becomes very thick, it will form a cloud and that cloud is Sri Guru. This means your senses are in the process of becoming spiritualized. If you feel like dancing, get up and dance! As the singing stops, a deep silence dawns. When singing, become fully immersed in the process of singing. The oneness creates a profound energy that enlivens us, for the whole creation is connected, and we are all but one. As we start to sing, there is one thought, one rhythm, in all minds. Though singing is a form of thought, it allows the mind to sink into itself.Īs we sit together in one place, we all have different thoughts running through our heads. Each persistent thought then transforms into a worry. The more a thought is resisted, the more it persists. As the thoughts occur, a given pattern of aversion and resistance arises. Some thoughts we like, some we do not like. It is not bad to have thoughts, but each thought has a pattern of emotions associated with it.
